The involvement of independent software vendors or ISVs is crucial
to Keystone. The Alliance identifies key ISVs in the markets and works with them
to develop customised solutions.
The partnership between the Alliance and the ISVs involves both technology and
marketing innovations. The Alliance provides HP, Intel and Microsoft pre-sales
and consulting expertise to the ISV partners, and allows them to conduct
proof-of-concept testing, pilots, performance tuning and capacity planning to
accelerate the deployment of solutions on the industry standard platforms.
The three companies invest extensively to ensure inter-operability and
compatibility of ISV solutions at the development stage itself. The ISVs also
use latest development methodologies including component-based architecture.
This ensures easy linking of modules to build complete applications.
